'The Pursuit of Happiness'

Matteo was an Adjunct Instructor for the undergraduate course ‘The Pursuit of Happiness’ (PHI220) at the Lorenzo de' Medici International Institute of Florence. Under this heading, this course explored a variety of theories of happiness from antiquity to contemporaneity, with a special emphasis on the eudaimonism of Plato, Aristotle and Epictetus.

Private Tutoring

In addition to his institutional teaching and research, Matteo is also available to follow private students in the study and practice of ancient philosophical ways of life - especially the Stoic, following the revival of this tradition  by Modern Stoics such as Massimo Pigliucci and John Sellars - on the basis of tutoring programs specifically created to suit their educational needs.
